This is a parallel project to Medea 2019 Broken Symmetry, the 7th International Interdisciplinary Symposium on Art, Science and Technology.
Emma curated this to bring art onto the street in the form of weatherproof banners exhibiting diverse approaches as an extension of her presentation “Outdoor Galleries” at the symposium. This public pop-up artspace extends the white box concept of a conference gallery and the aesthetics of banner advertising.
